Essential site functions

We serve the site, protect forms and remember your privacy choice. The finanzer_consent_v1 localStorage record holds the policy version, the analytics and marketing choices, and the time you saved them. It contains no advertising identifier. It is valid for 180 days in this browser; after expiry or a policy-version change we ask again.

Google Tag Manager (GTM-MSVNDPRL) and the Google tag library load to manage tags and receive the consent state. This technical request discloses connection information such as your IP address and browser details to Google. Loading the container does not give permission for analytics or advertising. Our consent controls block the corresponding tracking destinations until you accept that category. There is no tracking iframe when JavaScript is disabled.

Analytics — optional

With analytics consent, tags configured in GTM may use Google Analytics and Ahrefs to measure visits and page use so we can improve the website. Without analytics consent, Ahrefs is not loaded and all Analytics collection requests are blocked, including Google's cookieless measurement requests. The Google tag library can initialize in a denied-consent state so its installation can be detected; this does not permit collection or Analytics cookies.

Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<identifier> to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google's default _ga expiry is two years, although container settings can shorten it. Ahrefs Web Analytics describes its standard service as cookieless; we still place its measurement behind analytics consent. Our 180-day consent period is separate from vendor cookie expiry.

Marketing — optional

With marketing consent, a Meta Pixel configured in GTM may measure ad responses and associate visits with your activity on Meta services. Meta may use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, typically lasting up to 90 days. Without marketing consent, Meta's scripts and tracking requests are blocked.

A consent preference does not itself install a vendor tag. Collection begins only when the relevant tag has also been configured and published in GTM. We do not send enquiry form contents, credit balances or financial application data through the website's consent engine.

Change or withdraw your choice

Open Cookie settings in the footer. Reject optional turns off both categories; Save choices applies your individual selections. Accept all and Reject optional are available at the same level. Closing the settings panel without saving does not grant consent or change your previous choice.

Saving refreshes the page to stop previously loaded trackers and apply the new permissions. Withdrawal removes known readable first-party analytics and advertising cookies for the categories you switch off. We cannot erase third-party cookies, browser-inaccessible cookies or data already received by a provider; use the provider's controls or contact us about earlier processing. Consent changes are also applied to other open tabs on this site.

If browser storage is unavailable, we cannot remember your choice and do not enable new optional tracking. You can still use the public website. Clearing site storage removes the saved preference and the banner will appear again.

Enquiries and technical records

Submitted enquiries and hosting or security logs are separate from optional cookies. Clearing your browser storage does not delete an enquiry. Google, Meta and Ahrefs may process permitted data outside your country under their applicable arrangements; the linked policies describe their processing.
